๐Ÿง€ Is #leerdammer real cheese ? ๐Ÿง€ ~ According to them it's made using milk, lactic ferments, vegetarian rennet and salt. So to me it sounds like "real cheese" just like cheddar or any other semi-hard cheese. Unfortunately the packaging SCREAMS ultraprocessed whereas the ingredients are like regular "cheese ". The lack of time to meal prep continues, or my ability to manage time at the moment, and I either eat late, or sometimes not quite keto because I'm so hungry. Sometimes it's just a gut feeling with not enough time to get to a safe space but nevertheless becoming super aware of them and taking my emergency pill have saved me from many a seizure ~ Reposted from @socal.epilepsy - WHEN I get an aura, I usually get deja vu or a horrible gut feeling. ๐Ÿ’œ So true ๐Ÿ’œ ~ I recently had a conversation with someone who said that " I talk about my epilepsy alot and that my epilepsy does not define me." ~ He was absolutely right in that it shouldn't, but in the real world it does. I ignored my condition for so long or for lack of awareness of my own condition that my seizures weren't under control. Read 15-16 years. It was only when I became aware that I was able to manage my triggers and cope every day at work or play. It does define me in that I can't live a "normal" life and i have a different life to peers (friends and colleagues) because of it and that's fine. Sometimes it's for the best, I LOVE that I have to prioritise food, lifestyle and family. It defines me because it's set boundaries for me. However everything in this image is not something that people around epileptics understand and that's hard. ~ Reposted from @epilepsylifestyle - This sucks. Keep pushing on some how. ๐Ÿง  Fell off the bandwagon and getting back on ๐Ÿง  ~ I remembered why I began this space again and whilst only a handful of people in my everyday life are balanced in terms of health and lifestyle.
